The Rail Trail Run and Ride, held on the picturesque North-East Rail Trail, between Scottsdale and the Billycock was established in 2018 and is hosted by the Rotary Club of Scottsdale.
This fantastic event not only showcases the North-East Rail Trail to the broader community, but any profit from the event supports the development and ongoing maintenance of the trail.
Event distances ranging from 2km through to 54km, with options to run, ride, or both! There is an event to suit runners and riders of all experience levels.
This year 179 participants took part in the event which was conducted over the weekend of 14 and 15 September 2024.
In the coming months, the Rotary Club of Scottsdale will be investigating ways to improve, further develop and grow the Event for the benefit of the Dorset community.
