Recently we were delighted to welcome Year 5/6 students from Scottsdale Primary School to the Musselroe Bay Wind Farm and the Tebrakunna Visitor Centre, together with the Tebrakunna Rangers | Melaythenner Teeackana Warrana Aboriginal Corporation.

The students had a fantastic day seeing renewable energy in action — from hands-on science experiments with mini wind turbines to exploring and inspecting the turbines up close. A highlight for many was the chance to step inside the base of a turbine and get a rare look at the inner workings of this incredible technology.

Alongside learning about renewable energy, students also gained valuable cultural insights from the Tebrakunna Rangers, who shared stories, knowledge, and activities that deepened their understanding of Aboriginal history, culture, and connection to Country.

We were proud to support this excursion by covering the cost of the bus, ensuring every student could take part in this unique learning experience. Seeing their excitement, curiosity, and enthusiasm reminds us why community connections are such an important part of what we do at Woolnorth Renewables.

A big thank you to the staff and students of Scottsdale Primary School for visiting us — we loved sharing our wind farm with you and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future!
